About 4 Comfort Cream
We have a new product at Excell for Life that is a new bioidentical hormone cream called 4 Comfort cream. This cream has been researched and found to help rebuild collagen and increase skin elasticity which will help with wrinkles!!! It is also proven to help with vaginal atrophy in postmenopausal women that can cause dryness, painful intercourse, or frequency, urgency, and painful urination. We learned about this product from Dr. Jay Mead at a bio-identical hormone conference. So far staff and patients are loving it! All of our providers and staff love to keep learning for you.
Topically active Estriol is the bioidentical hormone that is found in the cream. This type of estrogen doesn’t increase estrogen dominance so you don’t get unpleasant symptoms. Estriol is the 3rd and least (lowest percentage) estrogen a woman’s body makes. It was once thought of as insignificant and weak, but it has actually been shown to have protective effects against stronger estrogens.
In studies, it has been found to help a variety of conditions, such as hot flashes, insomnia, skin thinning/wrinkles, vaginal atrophy, and reduced urinary tract infections. There are some early studies showing that it may help in the treatment of some autoimmune diseases such as Rheumatoid Arthritis and MS. The Journal of Restorative Medicine states that no adverse effects of Estriol have been reported to the FDA.
To use, you can place 1/2 to one pump once daily rubbed in well to the affected area, or for best absorption apply to inner wrists or behind knees (rotate between areas). For wrinkles: apply directly to the areas, and not more than one pump daily. Avoid getting into your eyes! For vaginal use: apply 1/2 pump around vaginal entrance and into the vagina once daily or two to three times per week.
