Dr. Miller’s Salsa
This is a terrifically healthy food, and you can modify the recipe for your taste.
Don’t overeat the chips—have more salsa than chips!
Also, you can add this salsa to other foods/ entrees/ dishes!
1 large can diced tomatoes
1 large can crushed tomatoes
1 small can diced tomatoes with pepper
1 white or red onion, chopped
1 bunch green onions, chopped
½ bunch of cilantro, chopped
1 tsp. salt
2 Anaheim peppers (these are long, lighter green peppers), chopped
3-4 Jalapeno peppers, chopped
Add 1-4 extra regular small cans of diced tomatoes if needed to make less spicy for your taste.
Nurse Anne likes to add chopped strawberries or mangoes occasionally, too!
