Heart-Healthy, Cancer-Fighting Salad

Here’s a tasty and health-boosting salad for February, which is American Heart Month!  You can add as much as you want of any of the ingredients, to modify it to your own taste.

  • – Dark, leafy greens

  • – Shredded Carrots

  • – Grape tomatoes

  • – Beans (kidney, black, pinto, garbanzo, or any other kind you like)

  • – Fish—salmon is especially good!

  • – Avocado

  • – Citrus peel

  • – Splash on lemon juice
